The book has seven chapters, which explore: previous development theories applied in tourism, compared with the degrowth paradigm; the various degrowth alternatives in tourism; the main principles of degrowth-inspired travelling; alternative travel lifestyles and travel freedom; the impacts (economic, sociocultural and environmental) of degrowth compared to mass tourism; and a model of degrowth-induced tourism development.
